Service Charges and Fees

  • Stop Overs: A $20.00 fee applies for stops within the regular route not exceeding 15 minutes.
  • Airport Parking: An additional $10.00 fee applies to all terminal pickups.
  • Gratuity: A 20% gratuity is added to all prepaid reservations.
  • Refunds: All refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations: Notifications must be provided at least three hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within three hours of the scheduled time will be charged the full fare.
  • No-Show Policy: If you are unable to locate your driver at the airport, please call 248-214-6823 before leaving the baggage area to avoid “No-Show” charges. If the lines are busy, please leave a detailed voicemail so we may page your driver.

Pickup Instructions

  • For non-airport pickups, please ensure the vehicle has your full name displayed on the passenger window.
  • Vehicles cannot exceed designated seating capacities.
  • Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited; customers are responsible for any resulting fines.

Limitation of Liability

DTW Airport Cars is not responsible for service delays or terminations resulting from:

  – Weather conditions, natural disasters, or airport authority mandates.
  – Mechanical breakdowns, system shutdowns, or computer failures.
  – Construction, detours, or traffic accidents.
  – Damage caused by independent sub-contractors.
  – Lost articles or damage to personal property, including electronics.
